Want to earn extra cash on the road? – Drive for Uber Eats

Looking for a fun way to earn money while pursuing your RV dream? Drive for Uber Eats and get paid instantly when you need it as well as being able to work in most major cities in the US.

Why I prefer to work Uber Eats

Uber has taken the world by storm and has provided millions of working folk a way to earn extra income. The application process is easy and you can be working within days of being approved.

I have been an Uber driver for about two years and have worked it in conjunction with another great side hustle job called Shipt. I love being my own boss, having no one to answer to but my customers, and being able to earn as much or as little as I want.

When I first started Uber it was as a taxi driver. That quickly was something I gave up because I found having succession of different arses in my car just didn’t suit me. I then switched to Uber Eats and have been happy ever since.

There are pros and cons to working each, but at the end of the day I choose to work Uber Eats exclusively and here are some of my pros.

  • Ferrying food is less complicated than ferrying people
  • Less wear and tear on my vehicle
  • able to take numerous trips at close distances
  • discovering great local restaurants that I never noticed are right in my vicinity.
  • You can work UberEats practically anywhere

Working Uber Eats is a breeze

Picking up food orders is so easy! And lots of times I don’t have to even get out of the car because the customer is often waiting in the driveway and will come the driver window.

There’s no risk of someone vomiting in my car, being drunk, talking my ear off or flat out murdering me when my front seat passenger is a McDonalds bag!

Once you find a particularly popular restaurant you can literally sit in the parking lot, pick up deliver, return to the same restaurant wash, rinse, repeat. This allows your trips to stack up fast.

You also get turned on to many eateries right in your area that you never knew about.

I discovered the best cheese steak sub 5 minutes from me that I never noticed although I had driven by it almost daily. If you are a foodie Uber Eats will expand your gastronomic world.

And lastly you can work it ANYWHERE. It is in most major US cities, Europe, South America, Asia, Africa, and Australia.

The Only Con of Uber Eats

Uber Eats’ only con is this…it simply doesn’t pay a lot. Now this is totally subjective because I’m sure you can make $500.00 or more a week if you worked it multiple hours a day. But I tend to do it as a back up or filler job with other side hustles that I have.

With Uber Eats you won’t set the world on fire financially, but I like it, especially in conjunction with working Shipt because when you need the same day money you can do instant cash out.

Say your short on a bill and need an extra $50 dollars that day. You can hop in the car, make the money relatively quickly then pay the bill the the same day.

Perks and Programs

There are some great perks that come with working Uber Eats. Here is what you can receive:

  • Discounts on cell service with Verizon, At&T and Sprint.
  • Discount on Intuit Quickbooks
  • Access to Health Care insurance for freelancers through Stride
  • Discounts for services and products at Autozone, Firestone, Jiffy Lube, Maaco, Meineke, Safelite Auto Glass, The Ticket Clinic, Wheel Works, and Sears Auto.
